Ohio has approximately 930 municipalities and 88 counties.  Each of these entities have a clerk, fiscal clerk, clerk treasurer, records clerk, or other title, but all of these position generally have one thing in common – they serve a Council/Commissioners/Board or other entity.  That is where the Ohio Municipal Clerks Association can help each and every one of those positions by offering access to educational opportunities, a vast network, and support.  We welcome not only clerks with a full OMCA membership, but also support staff with an associate membership.

Why should I join the Ohio Municipal Clerk Association?

Your membership in OMCA offers you the opportunity to be served by our mission to advance the municipal clerks profession through education, networking, and mentoring, which establishes clerks as experts in their field and leaders in the communities they serve. Your membership entitles you to reduced registration rates for the Annual Institute, One Day Academies and Athenian Dialogues. In addition, members are eligible for scholarship opportunities, may serve on the Board of Directors, vote in Board elections, be part of a statewide email system to ask questions and share information, and receive support and outreach from other clerks.
