Education Scholarships

OMCA Scholarships

The OMCA Marilyn McLaughlin Scholarship was created to promote, train and educate Municipal Clerks to make them proficient in the services they provide for the citizens of their community. OMCA scholarships aid Clerks who are unable, through their home municipality, to finance their attendance to the OMCA Annual Institute. Scholarship funds may also be used for the OMCA and IIMC educational opportunities at the discretion of the Professional Development Committee and the Executive Committee. The Board may also designate other training that would be eligible for scholarships.

The applicant must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship cannot be used to reimburse the municipality for payments already made.

IIMC Scholarships
